Private Parties / Events
Wedding Receptions and Ceremonies- $700 – First 4 hours – minimum rate, even if reception is less than 4 hours.
- $125 – Each additional hour.
- Hosting/emcee duties with host dressed in appropriate attire for your event.
- State-of-the-art audio system and dance floor lighting.
- Drive time up to 30 minutes each way between Portland,OR and your event location.
- Up to two planning meetings prior to your event, at a mutually-agreeable time and location.
- Out-of-town customers: we can “meet” via telephone or Skype if you are unable to meet face-to-face in the area.
- Unlimited support via email before, between or after the planning meetings.
- Equipment set-up and tear-down (each takes about an hour, but this time will not cost you extra).
For most events, the rates listed above are all you pay, not a penny more. There are just two exceptions:
- Travel fees will apply for venues significantly beyond a 30 minute drive from Portland.
- Feeding the DJ and possibly one assistant. (Many caterers offer discounted “vendor meals,” so be sure to ask yours.)

- I will respond quickly to let you know if I’m available for that date.
- I’ll hold the currently-posted rates for 30 days, even if I increase the rates listed on this page during that 30-day window.
- I’ll pencil-in your name on my calendar; if someone else asks for the same date, I’ll give you a courtesy notice.
- Deposit Policy: $200 will lock in your date. Because this means other customers requesting the same date will be turned away, deposits are non-refundable.
